RARE ARTIFACT ADDED TO JOHNNY CASH STORE

The Johnny Cash General Store has become known as the place to for the largest assortment of museum-quality Cash artifacts in the world. Periodically, we get rare and outstanding pieces that are so unique we share them with the visitors to our site.

Among the rarest of all Johnny Cash items are hand-signed guitars; they are simply nearly impossible to find and don’t exist in large numbers. Due to their size and logistics of getting a celebrity to sign a guitar, they are uncommon. This is the first we’ve been able to find in over two years and we scour the world for Cash memorabilia continually.

What makes this Pan acoustic guitar even more desirable and certainly more rare than 99% of the ones we’ve seen is that Cash has added “Play it Pretty!” in his hand to this beauty, making it extra special. Apparently, Johnny wanted to encourage the owner of this guitar to use it and use it well.

The guitar has been well used but is still in nice condition overall. There is a chip at the bottom, but the wood is still intact and this is a very handsome display piece, boldly inscribed and signed by Johnny in silver. The signature and inscription rate a 10! Combine that with the nice patina on the vintage guitar and you’ve got the ultimate Cash treasure!

The instrument was signed for a crew member on the set of the TV program “Renegade” in 1996 when Johnny appeared on the series.
If you’re one of the many folks who have contacted us over the years looking for a nice Cash-signed guitar, you shouldn’t let this opportunity pass; it may well be another two years or more until we are fortunate enough to locate the next.

Accompanied by our world-recognized and renowned Certificate of Authenticity. Check it out at: www.johnnycashstore.com/autographs.htm
