This made-for-TV remake of the classic 1939 Western had the good fortune of starring all four members of The Highwaymen: Johnny Cash (as Marshal Curly Wilcox), Waylon Jennings (as the gambler Hatfield), Willie Nelson (as Doc Holliday) and Kris Kristofferson (as The Ringo Kid, the role originated by John Wayne).
