Johnny Cash Museum Exhibit Extended At Fender Center

The exhibit of Johnny Cash memorabilia originally scheduled to run from September of 2006 to February of this year has been extended indefinitely according to Debbie Shuck, Executive Director of the Fender Museum and Center for the Performing Arts. Bill Miller has loaned a significant portion of his Johnny Cash collection to the museum featuring the last handwritten song Cash wrote, stage costumes, original artwork, gold records, the CMA Award won by Johnny Cash and June Carter as the Duo of the Year in 1969 and much more. According to Shuck, “Bill has been a tremendous supporter of our Kids Rock Free Program and has graciously supported our foundation by donating his collection for display and donating merchandise and memorabilia which we have sold and auctioned to benefit the program.” Kids Rock Free is a program of the Fender Center which gives free music lessons to over 600 children from all walks of life each week. The Johnny Cash exhibit is open from Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Corona, California . The address of the Museum is 365 North Main Street.
