Rolling Stone Country has revealed what it considers to be the 100 Greatest Country Songs Of All Time, and it’s no surprise that Johnny Cash tops the list. Coming in at #1, the magazine calls Johnny Cash’s “I Walk The Line” the “defining moment for country’s most iconic figure.” In addition, Johnny’s recordings of “Ring Of Fire” and “Folsom Prison Blues” come in at #27 and #51 on the list.
Also on the list — the Carter Family’s recordings of “Can The Circle Be Unbroken” at #21, and “Wildwood Flower” at #34.
